Lovely stay with a personal touch

Danish and his mom were super welcoming even in the rain! Check-in was easy, and our king room was cozy. Had a comfy bed and the vibe was nice and quiet. They have a little bar area nearby that’s perfect for an evening drink. Just wish the parking was a bit roomier if you have a bigger car.

This hotel is connected to a cute and cozy restaurant, The Blue Heron, making dining nearby super easy. The lush green park right behind the hotel added a peaceful touch to my stay. However, a window in my room had a noticeable crack, and some dust was evident on the floor around the furniture, which could have used a thorough cleaning. The air conditioner might benefit from maintenance, as it seemed to have some dust buildup around the vents. Overall, it’s a lovely family-owned place to stay but needs some attention to details.

The outside window at my room was shattered, the cleaning missed food on the floor, air conditioning units need maintenance, and the hall carpet looks neglected!!! Attention to these details is definitely necessary!!!

It was just a proper fit for a quick trip in Barrington with good value. I really appreciated the easy access to a local restaurant right next door. If you're looking for a quiet place, it’s a solid choice.

The staff is friendly,, and they even helped me with restaurant recommendations nearby. I particularly enjoyed a king room that was very spacious and the mattress felt so good, we slept like babies.
